Pineapple Plaid

It’s time for a the new bi-weekly challenge at Cupcake Inspirations and we want you to add some plaid!

No photo description available.

Newton’s Nook is our sponsor and will be providing a $25 gift certificate to our randomly chosen winner!

Newton's Nook Designs

I used the Newton’s Nook Pineapple Delight stamp set and matching dies to create my plaid pineapples. (You’ll find the complete list of supplies at the end of this post)

I used two Club Scrap stamps to create a plaid background on white card stock. These stamps are no longer available, but I’m sure you have stamps in your stash that you can use. I alternated colors of ink (Club Scrap’s Orchid, Topaz, Moss, and Spruce) to create a fun pattern. I love the argyle stamp!

I used the Newton’s Nook Pineapple Delight dies to cut out the pineapple images and some coordinating card stock for the leaves.

I finished things off with a matching gem and some Diamond Stickles.

Add some plaid to your project and join the Design Sweeties for a chance to win! I’ll look for you in the gallery!
