Almost a year ago I posted about my husband’s new hobby… beekeeping!
The weather is warming up and the bees are getting busy. We just finished the last of our honey from last summer and I’m ready for the next honey harvest. Stay tuned for more bee themed projects coming soon!
I’ve been admiring some fabulous junk journal projects and thought I’d make another project using recycled items. This time I recycled a mini Pringle’s can!
I took some measurements and resized a few of the kit images in Photoshop Elements to fit my project. I printed all of the images on 8.5×11 white card stock and trimmed to size. The tags and labels were the perfect size to use as embellishments to decorate the can. I fussy cut some of the bees using Cutter Bee scissors and added them with foam tape. (A full list of available supplies used is listed at the end of this post.)
I used the 2 and 2.5 inch Elizabeth Craft Designs stitched circle dies to trim the lid decoration and the telescoping message inside!
This beautiful background print is perfect all by itself, I just added a little Stickles glitter glue to enhance the images.
