Spring is in full swing here in Louisiana…pollen and all! I hope it’s a sign that our bees will make lots of honey. I love springtime. I’m a March baby and this is MY time of year!
I’ve got some fun Easter/spring themed cards for you made with the Taylormadecards4u.com Passport to Spring digital kit!
These pop-up shadow box cards are so easy to make and super fun to decorate! They also fold flat for mailing.
I didn’t try to reinvent the wheel and make a tutorial, there are too many awesome videos out there for that! I’ll share two of my favorites…
I resized the two Passport to Spring background layers in Photoshop Elements to 8.5×11 in. and printed them along with the other elements on 8.5×11 in. smooth white card stock. ( All available supplies used will be listed in the list at the end of this post). I trimmed the card panel pieces to 5.5 x 4.25 inches and used some of my dies to cut the windows on the front panels. (I scored and folded the panels according to instructions in the first video.) I fussy cut and trimmed some of the elements to decorate the panels and got busy designing!
Oh, the things you can do with digital kits! Check out what the rest of the TMC4U Design Team has created with the Passport to Spring kit on the brand new “all in one” Taylormadecards4u.com website! (Click the blog archive link in the header)
